Title: Don’t Miss the Latest Installment of This Unique Exhibition Celebrating the Book Format
An opening reception for the exhibition will take place on Friday, September 11, from 6:30 PM to 9:00 PM, featuring light refreshments and an opportunity to view over 60 impressive artworks from across the United States.
The Book As Art: Ghosted is the fourteenth edition of an ongoing art show that celebrates books as enduring objects in a digital world. This exhibition invites artists to explore the complexities of the book as a medium, examining the relationship between physical and digital interpretations, folklore, and contemporary communication styles. The artworks aim to challenge viewers to look beyond the printed page to understand the transformation of ideas, words, and symbols.
For individuals interested in supporting free art experiences in Decatur, volunteering as a gallery sitter is an option available through the Decatur Arts Alliance.
