The Lovejoy Branch, situated on McDonough Road at the southern end of Clayton County, is conveniently located near Lovejoy High School, the Lovejoy Soccer Complex, and the South Clayton Recreation Center. About the Branch

Headquarters Library is the largest of the six branches in the Clayton County Library System and offers many activities for people of all ages, including weekly story times, teen activities, and computer classes for adults. 

Headquarters Library offers numerous public computer workstations, research assistance at the Information Desk, study tables, comfortable seating areas, and two meeting rooms that are available for booking by the public (please call for details).

The exhibition features four chronological chapters that capture the museum’s growth and includes insights into its operations, such as the vital role of volunteers and the process of integrating artifacts into the permanent collection. A highlight of the exhibit is the Kennesaw House itself, which has a rich history dating back to the 1840s and survived the Civil War and the burning of Marietta.

Open starting June 12, this exhibition runs until late Fall 2026. Admission fees are as follows: adults are $10.00, students and seniors (60+) are $7.00, while members, children under 5, active military, and veterans can enter free of charge.

Locust Grove Public Library

The library will offer a ladybug craft on February 9.

Children are invited to visit the Children’s Department at the Locust Grove Public Library to create their own handprint ladybugs. Participants will trace, cut, and glue together a cheerful ladybug using their handprints. This craft celebrates the season of love with red colors and encourages creativity. Registration is not required, and all arts and crafts are available while supplies last.
