Birding 101: How to tell a thrush from a thrasher
Date: February 15, Time: 10 AM – 11:30 AM
Location: Ben Robertson Community Center
Participants will have the opportunity to distinguish between a blue bird and a blue jay while discovering the basics of identifying bird species in this beginner-friendly workshop. They can put their knowledge to the test by participating in the Great Backyard Bird Count or practicing in their own backyards. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own binoculars, and if time permits, a bird walk will be conducted. This workshop will be led by Master Naturalist, Jack Price.
