The Kennesaw Parks & Recreation Department invites local ghouls, ninjas, superheroes, and princesses to join in the festivities at “Spook-Central Park” during the annual Fall-O-Ween Fest, scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 19, from 3 to 7 PM at Swift-Cantrell Park. Admission is free.

Participants can enjoy a variety of activities, including a candy trail, costume contests, a scavenger hunt, crafts, field games, and music. The evening will culminate with a screening of the family-friendly movie Halloweentown (G), which will begin after sundown, between 7 and 7:30 PM. Concessions and unique merchandise from local vendors will be available for purchase starting at 3 PM.

The Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta Costume Contest will take place every 30 minutes, starting at 3:30 PM and concluding at 6:30 PM. Prizes will be awarded to three winners during each time slot, and the contest is open to participants of all ages, including pets.

The movie will be projected onto a giant inflatable screen, and attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or low-back chairs for their comfort. Pop-up tents, canopies, and beach umbrellas that may obstruct others’ views will not be allowed.

Swift-Cantrell Park is located at 3140 Old 41 Highway. Parking is available within the park and at the nearby Kennesaw Elementary School.

The Fall-O-Ween Fest is presented by Selector Realty and Renasant Bank.
