Tornadoes, Earthquakes and Blizzards, Oh my!
Have you ever wondered how railroads prepare for natural disasters? This Homeschool Workshop will provide the answers!
Experience STEAM-powered fun at the Homeschool Workshop, where participants can discover new train-themed concepts and apply them to their own invention, art project, machine, or game. The workshops feature a multidisciplinary approach and include hands-on projects, guided activities, tours, and demonstrations.
The drop-in program will be held from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Each student will receive a personalized introduction and detailed instructions before engaging in open-ended activities. Additionally, there will be a guided presentation or tour every half hour that delves deeper into the topic of the workshop.
This program is recommended for elementary students aged 5 to 12 and their caregivers. It is included in the Museum admission price and is free for Museum members. Registration is not required.
