The Homeschool Workshop offers an opportunity to investigate STEAM-powered fun! Attendees can discover new train-themed concepts and apply them to their own inventions, art projects, machines, or games. The workshops are multidisciplinary, featuring hands-on projects, guided activities, tours, and demonstrations.
The drop-in program runs from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Each student receives a personalized introduction and detailed instructions before beginning open-ended activities. A guided presentation or tour is held every half hour to delve deeper into the workshop topic.
This program is recommended for elementary students ages 5 to 12, along with their caregivers. It is included in the Museum admission price and is free for Museum members. Registration is not required.
