Fabric Art
Date: Tuesday, June 24
Time: 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Location: Locust Grove Public Library
The Fabric Art program invites adults to create unique canvas art using colorful fabric. This hands-on activity requires no sewing—only imagination, creativity, and a sense of exploration.
Part of the Color Our World series, the program is designed to demonstrate the diverse ways that art can enhance everyday life. Participants will use fabric instead of traditional mediums like paint or pencils to design and craft a small, original piece of art on canvas. A variety of colorful fabrics will be provided, along with printed instructions to guide attendees. The emphasis is on individual creativity, encouraging participants to think critically as they layer and piece fabrics into images, patterns, or abstract designs.
