The Marietta History Center is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special exhibition titled “Marietta History Center at 30.” This retrospective highlights the museum’s growth since its establishment in 1996, showcasing its role as a key historical resource for Marietta and Cobb County.
The exhibition is organized into four chronological chapters, offering insight into the museum’s evolution over the past three decades. It provides a unique glimpse into the museum’s operations, emphasizing the vital role of volunteers and the process of accepting artifacts into the collection. A notable feature is the Kennesaw House, the historic building housing the museum, which has a storied past dating back to the 1840s.
The exhibition will run from January 31st through late Fall 2026. Admission prices are set at $10 for adults, $7 for students and seniors (60+), while members, children under 5, and active military and veterans can enter for free.
