The Third Door is collaborating with The Brickyard for an evening of bluegrass music on the Square. Scheduled for November 6 from 6:30 PM to 10:00 PM, this event features the Hayde Bluegrass Orchestra, a seven-piece group hailing from Oslo, Norway. Known for their fusion of bluegrass and Nordic folk, often termed “Nordicana,” the band delivers an innovative take on American roots music, complete with fiddle, dobro, banjo, mandolin, guitar, accordion, and rich four-part harmonies. Led by Rebekka Nilsson, recognized as the 2022 IBMA Momentum “Vocalist of the Year,” the orchestra offers a mix of original compositions, bluegrass standards, and timeless covers.
The evening also includes performances by special guests The Lonely Few, a folk and bluegrass trio from North Georgia. With members Leika Wilde on fiddle, Tyler Bramblett on mandolin, and Britton Bass on guitar, the trio draws inspiration from Appalachian traditions and the scenic North Georgia landscape, shifting seamlessly between gentle ballads and lively bluegrass tunes.
