Fashion takes center stage at the High this Halloween.
The event will be inspired by Viktor&Rolf, combining elegance and whimsy for a unique Halloween experience. Attendees will have the opportunity to view a live makeup demonstration, engage in drop-in art-making, and enjoy music provided by a live band and DJ.
The first 100 members will enjoy exclusive access to a soju tasting during the event. Members will receive wristbands at check-in to claim a complimentary soju shot.
What’s Happening
Vampire Lounge
This dark lounge will feature themed cocktails available for purchase.
Theatrical Make-up Demonstration
Writer/director and IATSE Scenic Artist A.K. Espada will create a full zombie look on-site, answering questions about her practice.
Costume Contest
The winner of the costume contest will receive two tickets to an upcoming High Frequency event and complimentary drink vouchers. Registration will open at 8 p.m. on a first come, first served basis.
Music
Thrice Groove will DJ from 8–9:50 p.m.
Live Band
Unknown Lyric will perform live music from 6:30–8 p.m.
Capture the Moment
A 360-video booth and other locations for photo opportunities will be available.
Docent Tours
Docent tours will meet in the Taylor Lobby at 6:30 and 7 p.m. and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. No drinks will be allowed in the galleries.
Art Making
A drop-in drawing station will be available with teaching artist Larkin Ford, where attendees can create Halloween-themed keychains and charms with Candace Caston.
