Chill Out with the Coolest Story on Earth
Visitors can travel through Earth’s chilling past in Planet Ice, an immersive exhibition that uncovers the powerful role of ice in shaping the planet. They will step back in time to explore how ice has sculpted landscapes and driven remarkable adaptations that allowed life to survive in an unforgiving world. Through immersive storytelling, interactive displays, and over 100 striking specimens, this exhibit brings to life a time when massive glaciers ruled the land and ancient creatures roamed wild; guests can explore how the Ice Ages shaped climate and life during more than 80,000 years of Earth’s history.
Attendees will experience landscapes sculpted by glaciers; meet the megafauna, like mammoths and giant beavers, that once roamed now-vanished cold realms; uncover ancient lands now hidden beneath the oceans; and trace how human culture has responded to changing climates and ice retreats, ultimately shaping the world we live in today.
