Community Bulletin: Dinosaur-Themed Egg Hunt
Event Date: Saturday, April 11, 2026
Location: Morgan Falls Overlook Park
The sixth annual Dinosaur-themed egg hunt will be held for families with physical and developmental disabilities. The event will feature dino-inspired eggs positioned across the park’s lawn.
Safety will be prioritized during the egg hunting process, and an accessible area will be available for children in wheelchairs. Limited spots will be allocated to ensure personal space for participants. Each session will also include an educational fossil dig where children can excavate over 70 different fossils, with each child allowed to take home three fossils of their choice. A “DINO PLAY YARD” with dinosaur statues will offer photo opportunities, and there will be a meet and greet with a life-size dinosaur.
Registration:
Registration is required prior to the event, and on-site registration will not be accepted. Participants should register based on the age of the family member with a disability, and siblings may register in the same age group. All attendees must be registered to participate. Participants are encouraged to arrive 15 minutes before their assigned time slot for parking and check-in.
Scheduled Time Slots:
- 11:00 AM: Ages 4-6 and siblings
- 11:45 AM: Ages 7-9 and siblings
- 12:30 PM: Ages 10-13 and siblings
- 1:15 PM: Ages 14 – Adult
Important Note: This event will include collectible eggs containing dinosaurs, candy, and toys, provided by Canterbury Enterprises Inc., which employs individuals with disabilities.
