Morning Hikes

Fernbank Forest at Fernbank Museum
This event features a guided hike through Fernbank Forest, celebrating the ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Topics covered during the hike may include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more, varying with each scheduled event.
Cost: $10 for members and $20 for nonmembers.
Important information for attendees:
- Hikes will take place rain or shine, except in cases of hazardous weather. Attendees are advised to check the weather and dress accordingly.
- The hike is approximately two hours long, weather permitting.
- The terrain is uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible.
- This hike is not suitable for strollers.
- In the event of inclement weather, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will receive an email the day prior to the scheduled hike to inform them of any cancellations and to process refunds.
