Program Overview:
Atlanta’s Traditional Okinawan Karate-do Dojo, established in 1987, offers authentic instruction in Shorin Ryu and Shudokan Karate-do. The dojo focuses on traditional techniques emphasizing internal power development and self-defense skills. The training environment promotes cooperation and mutual respect, aiming to strengthen individuals physically and mentally.
The dojo does not teach sport karate; it adheres to traditional methods developed centuries ago. Moeller Sensei, who has over 30 years of experience in various martial arts, incorporates elements from T’ai Chi Ch’uan, Hung Gar Kung Fu, and Aikido into the curriculum. He is also the author of “Karate-Do Foundations,” published in 1995.
