Solo Exhibition at the Terri Strickland Cole Galleries
Celestial Perspectives is an installation-based exhibition featuring textile artwork by Jess Self. This collection transforms the gallery space into a multi-dimensional portal, showcasing intricately hand-woven pieces that emulate the pulsing code of the Matrix—serving as both a cosmic map and a textile labyrinth. Visitors are encouraged to explore, take their time, and engage with the symbolic language of color, material, and form. As they navigate the installation, they will encounter various figures and reflect on the nuanced boundaries between timelines, histories, and identities.
