On Sunday, May 17, 2026, at 3:00 PM, Spivey Hall will host a special concert titled “Britten to Bluegrass,” featuring the Chuck Nation Band alongside the Spivey Hall Young Artists, Children’s Choir, and Tour Choir.
This musical event showcases talented young performers, all directed by experienced leaders in the field. Dr. Craig Hurley serves as the Artistic Director for the Children’s Choir and Tour Choir, with Marcena Kinney as the Assistant Director and Accompanist. The Spivey Hall Young Artists choir is guided by conductor Ariel Alvarado and collaborative pianist Susan Wallace.
The concert is supported by a partnership between the Walter and Emilie Spivey Foundation and Clayton State University, ensuring a wonderful experience for all in attendance. Tickets start at $28.
