This event is designed to educate students in making informed choices regarding alcohol and other drugs. The course is available through referrals from several departments including Student Conduct & Academic Integrity, the Department of Fraternity & Sorority Life, Housing & Residence Life, and the Department of Athletics. Conducted by the Center for Young Adult Addiction and Recovery, this three-hour workshop focuses on addiction prevention and education.
Participants in the Wise Choices Workshop will incur an administrative fee of $85.00, which will be charged to their Owl Express accounts following the workshop completion. Payment is required within 30 days to avoid a Bursar’s registration hold. Fees can be settled online via Owl Express (using web-check or credit card) or in person at the Bursar’s Office (cash, check, or money order). Participants should wait to receive an email notification confirming the charge before making any payments.
