A request for a change in zoning from CBD (Central Business District) to PSP (Public-Semi-Public District) for approximately 0.73 acres located at 6709, 6713, and 6717 Church Street. This request will be considered at the City Council’s Legislative Meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2026, and voted upon at the Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, May 18, 2026. -
PSLUP26-0002
A request for a special land use permit for a Fabricated Metal Products Manufacturing Facility on approximately 4.83 acres located on Vansant Road. This request will be addressed at the City Council’s Legislative Meeting on Thursday, May 14, 2026, and voted upon at the Regular Voting Meeting on Monday, May 18, 2026. -
PSLUP26-0003
A request for a special land use permit for a Personal Care Home on approximately 1.16 acres located at 6339 Cornelia Drive, Douglasville, GA. The Planning Commission’s recommendation will be submitted to the City Council for consideration on Thursday, May 14, 2026, and voting on Monday, May 18, 2026. -
PZO26-0001
A request to amend Section 3.07.A of the Unified Development Ordinance to propose new language for Planned Residential Development Zoning. The Planning Commission’s recommendation will also be forwarded to the City Council for consideration and voting on the same dates.
All public hearings and meetings will take place in the Douglasville Conference Center Auditorium at 6700 Church Street, Douglasville, GA at 06:00 PM.
