AEJuice I Want It All Bundle – Animation Toolkit

The High Museum of Art will host the national tour of Amy Sherald’s mid-career retrospective, which represents the largest exhibition of her work to date. This comprehensive showcase will feature a broad range of paintings created between 2007 and 2024, including many of Sherald’s most iconic pieces alongside rarely exhibited works from throughout her career.

Born in Columbus, Georgia, Sherald has strong connections to Atlanta and to the High Museum. She received her training as a painter in Atlanta and graduated from Clark Atlanta University. In 2018, the High honored her with the annual David C. Driskell Prize in African American Art and Art History, the first national award recognizing the significance of African American art. Additionally, the museum featured her celebrated portrait of former First Lady Michelle Obama during The Obama Portraits Tour in 2022.

The High Museum will serve as the fourth and final venue for this exhibition, which is organized by the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA), where it debuted in 2024, having previously traveled to the Whitney Museum of American Art. Following its display at the High, the exhibition will be on view at the Baltimore Museum of Art from November 2, 2025, to April 5, 2026.
