Railroad Rendezvous

The Railroad Rendezvous is set to return, featuring various activities that celebrate transportation. Highlights include flatcar rides for children, a model car display, and artifacts from the Military Railroad Society. Guests can also explore tractors from AgPro Marietta, enjoy a blacksmith demonstration by Big Bear’s Forge, and interact with a train layout from Atlantic Coast S Gaugers. A hands-on car engine station presented by The Savoy will be available, along with a kids area hosted by the Atlanta Typewriter Club.
Attendees can board the General locomotive, known for its role in the Civil War, and tour the renovated Southern Railway Caboose X372. The “Board the General Experience” and “Board the Caboose Experience” cost $5 per person or $7 for both, with proceeds benefiting the Kennesaw Museum Foundation. Regular admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, and $5 for children, covering all activities except for the boarding experiences.
