Hand and Rod Puppetry 102 is a multi-session intermediate class for students who have completed Hand and Rod Puppetry 101. The course focuses on character development through puppet performance, emphasizing character intention, emotional clarity via movement, focus and thought-driven action, and subtlety in performance. Participants will explore how thought, emotion, and point of view are communicated through action, making specific choices and developing responsive, intentional performances. The class is held onsite at the Center for Puppetry Arts on September 28, October 5, 12, and 19, beginning at 7:00 PM EST. This program is recommended for ages 18+.
