A digital learning workshop for ages 9 and older, conducted online via Zoom. The program explores traditional puppetry from Mali, Japan, and China, including Malian rod and body puppets, Japanese bunraku rod puppets, and Chinese hand and shadow puppets. Participants examine replicas from the Center’s global museum collection and watch video excerpts of master puppeteers. The session includes a Chinese dragon shadow puppet building activity. The program is designed for grades 4 through adult, with capacity for 35 participants and a duration of 60 minutes. Cost is $185. Booking is available on demand.
