Spivey Hall is set to kick off its season with a performance by acclaimed pianist Richard Goode on September 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Known for his expressive interpretations, Goode will perform a captivating program featuring Mozart’s Sonata No. 8 in A Minor, K. 310, along with a selection from “Fancies & Goodnights,” showcasing works by composers such as Gesualdo, Byrd, Rameau, Gluck, Bizet, Paderewski, Schubert, and Janáček. The concert will also include Schumann’s “Davidsbündlertänze,” Op. 6.
Single tickets for this special event will go on sale starting August 4, while subscriptions are currently available. This performance offers a wonderful opportunity to experience the artistry of one of today’s leading classical pianists.
