Igor Levit, the acclaimed pianist known for his exceptional talent, is set to perform an all-Beethoven program at Spivey Hall on October 31, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Levit has garnered significant praise for his interpretations of Beethoven’s works, particularly following the 2019 release of his complete Beethoven Piano Sonatas. This concert features several of Beethoven’s iconic pieces, including the Piano Sonata No. 1 in F Minor, Op. 2, the Piano Sonata No. 17 in D Minor, Op. 31, commonly known as “The Tempest,” the Piano Sonata No. 25 in G Major, Op. 79, and the renowned Piano Sonata No. 21 in C Major, Op. 53, also known as “Waldstein.”
