D2L Day 2026: Get Your Course Ready in Brightspace will take place on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. EDT. This event offers a practical introduction to D2L Brightspace for new and returning faculty, featuring workshops and a support session.
The schedule includes:
– 9:00-10:15 a.m.: Getting Started & Course Setup
– 10:30-11:45 a.m.: Teaching with Brightspace
– 1:00-2:15 p.m.: Assessment & Grading
– 2:30-3:30 p.m.: Faculty Support Session
Participants will learn how to prepare courses, create learning activities, manage assessments, and connect with teaching resources. This training is hosted by the University Information Technology Services (UITS) and is aimed at faculty.
