The Acworth Community Garden will host a Great Southeast Pollinator Census event on Saturday, August 22. This initiative, organized in collaboration with the UGA Extension, aims to monitor insect populations across Georgia and the Southeast. Participants can drop by the garden between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. to assist with counting, which requires no prior experience and will take approximately 15 minutes.
Additionally, the event will feature arts and crafts and face painting for children.
