The Lake Authority consists of five members, with the elected Mayor serving as Chairman. The remaining four members are appointed by the Mayor and City Board. This group of citizens provides input and engagement regarding the operation, management, and development of master plans for Federally leased properties surrounding Lake Acworth. The Lake Authority convenes at the Acworth Community Center, located at 4361 Cherokee Street, on the first Monday of each month at noon.
