Rivers Alive Stream & Trash Cleanup

Volunteers are needed to help protect the watershed by removing litter from creeks, trails, and forest edges at the Evans Mill Trailhead. Participants can choose to join either the Streamside Group, which will collect trash in or near the stream, or the Trail Group, which will focus on trash along nearby nature trails. Gloves, trash bags, tools, and snacks will be provided.
Meeting will be at the Nature Center before caravaning to the trailhead. Participants are advised to dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes, and bring water and snacks. Dogs are not allowed. The program will proceed rain or shine unless deemed unsafe. For those requiring accommodations, contact Ranger Rachel at least 48 hours in advance.
