The 3rd Annual High School Art Contest will take place at Alexander Lakes in Panola Mountain State Park on September 12 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM. This free event invites Georgia high school students to showcase their creativity by creating a painting or drawing that represents the landscape, historic sites, or natural features of Georgia’s State Parks. Materials for watercolor will be provided, and participants are encouraged to bring their own supplies. The event will also feature opportunities to explore the landscape with a park ranger, learn about contest guidelines, and ask questions.
