“Parade,” a poignant musical that has garnered critical acclaim, will be presented at the Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre in Marietta. Set in 1913, it narrates the story of Leo Frank, a Jewish factory manager wrongfully accused of murder against the backdrop of societal prejudice and media sensationalism.

With a compelling book by Alfred Uhry and a captivating score by Jason Robert Brown, the musical portrays Leo’s struggle within a community torn apart by fear and injustice. His wife, Lucille, emerges as a fierce supporter, fighting tirelessly to restore his name.

The performance on September 17 is part of a series spanning several dates including September 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, and 20. Located at 117 N Park Square, the venue offers an immersive environment for this intense narrative.

Showtime is set for 7:30 PM to 9:30 PM. Tickets can be purchased at Earl and Rachel Smith Strand Theatre’s website.
