Cyanotyping Workshop at the High Museum of Art
Cyanotyping is a photographic printing process that involves placing objects onto photosensitive paper and exposing it to UV light, resulting in striking blue-and-white images. This hands-on workshop offers participants the opportunity to create traditional cyanotype prints using objects brought from home or selected from a collection of nature-inspired materials provided during the session.
In addition to making classic prints, attendees will be encouraged to explore creative enhancements through techniques such as staining and hand-drawn elements. This workshop aims to deepen participants’ understanding of alternative photographic processes, with each participant leaving with a unique collection of prints.
