The sixth installment of the Placita Latina exhibition, titled “Puentes” (Bridges), will feature the work of Latinx and Hispanic artists. This exhibition highlights how art can connect individuals across borders, languages, and experiences. Through various mediums such as painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, it explores the role of art in bridging the past and future, tradition and innovation, and individual narratives with collective identity.
In light of the divisions within communities, “Puentes” aims to foster connection, belonging, and cultural exchange among artists and visitors.
