The Lake Authority, a five-member board led by the elected Mayor as Chairman, includes four additional members appointed by the Mayor and Board. This group serves to provide citizen input and engagement regarding the operation, management, and development of master plans for Federally leased properties around Lake Acworth. Meetings are held at the Acworth Community Center, located at 4361 Cherokee Street, on the first Monday of each month at noon.
