The sixth installment of the Placita Latina exhibition, titled “Puentes” (Bridges), showcases Latinx and Hispanic artists. This exhibition celebrates the various ways in which Latin artists foster understanding, preserve cultural heritage, and create new avenues for dialogue. It features diverse forms of creative expression, including painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, examining how art connects past and future, tradition and innovation, and individual narratives with collective identity.
In an era marked by division, “Puentes” emphasizes the importance of shared humanity, inviting artists to reflect on themes of connection, belonging, resilience, and cultural exchange. A closing reception will be held on Friday, October 23rd from 6-9 PM.
