The Lake Authority is a five-member board chaired by the elected Mayor, with four additional members appointed by the Mayor and Board. This board comprises citizens who provide input and engage with the City on the operation, management, and development of master plans for Federally leased properties around Lake Acworth. The Lake Authority convenes at the Acworth Community Center, located at 4361 Cherokee Street, on the first Monday of each month at noon.
