This event invites participants to explore how different artworks approach similar ideas in unique ways. Through engaging discussions, attendees will connect art across time, geography, identity, and belief by examining two distinct pieces.
The “Through Lines” event will take place at the first artwork location and will last thirty to forty-five minutes. Stools and assistive listening devices will be available and are highly recommended.
The featured artworks include Marcel Wanders’ Crochet Chair (prototype) (2006) and Isamu Noguchi’s Basket Chair (designed 1950; fabricated 2008).
This event will be held at the High Museum in Atlanta.
