Frog Feeding Adventure – Atlanta Botanical Garden

Frog Feeding Adventure – Atlanta Botanical Garden
AEJuice I Want It All Bundle – Animation Toolkit

Saturdays at 10 a.m.: Visitors are invited to the Fuqua Conservatory lobby at the Atlanta Botanical Garden to observe the frogs’ feeding behaviors as they jump into action when presented with their meals. An amphibian specialist will provide interesting insights and answer questions about these fascinating creatures.

Public frog feedings offer attendees the opportunity to witness one of the most engaging aspects of amphibian life. Most frogs possess long, sticky tongues that extend rapidly to capture their prey. Certain species, such as Poison frogs, exhibit remarkable speed and precision, making flies seem to vanish instantly. Others, like the fringed leaf frog, display dramatic feeding techniques, using their hands to stuff crickets into their mouths.
