Morning Hike

Fernbank Museum – Fernbank Forest
A guided hike through Fernbank Forest will be offered, celebrating the ecosystem of the old-growth forest. Each session will cover various topics, which may include birding, tree identification, and wildflowers.
Cost: $10 for members / $20 for nonmembers
Important information prior to attendance:
- Hikes will occur rain or shine, except in cases of hazardous weather. Participants are advised to check the weather and dress accordingly.
- The duration of the hike is two hours, subject to weather conditions.
- The forest terrain is uneven and steep in certain areas, making the trails unsuitable for those with strollers or ADA accessibility needs.
- In the event of inclement weather or failure to meet the minimum number of registrations, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will be notified via email the day prior to the scheduled hike regarding any cancellations and will receive a refund.
