This event features a guided hike through Fernbank Forest, celebrating the ecosystem of the old-growth forest. The Morning Hike covers various topics during each session, which may include birding, tree identification, wildflowers, and more.

Cost: $10 for members; $20 for nonmembers.

Important information for participants:

• Hikes will take place rain or shine, except in the event of hazardous weather. It is advisable to check the weather and dress accordingly.
• The duration of the hike is approximately two hours, weather permitting.
• The forest terrain may be uneven and steep at times. Trails are not ADA accessible.
• This event is not suitable for strollers.
• In case of inclement weather, Fernbank reserves the right to cancel the hike. Registered participants will receive an email notification the day prior to the scheduled hike regarding any cancellations, along with information about refunds.
