The sixth installment of the Placita Latina exhibition, titled “Puentes (Bridges),” will showcase Latinx and Hispanic artists. This event illustrates how art connects individuals across borders and experiences, celebrating Latin artists’ efforts to foster understanding and preserve cultural heritage. The exhibition features various forms of creative expression, including painting, photography, sculpture, and mixed media, emphasizing how art can bridge gaps between the past and present, tradition and innovation, and individual stories and collective identities.
Amid current societal divisions, “Puentes” encourages reflections on connection, belonging, resilience, and cultural exchange. A closing reception will take place on Friday, October 23rd, from 6 to 9 PM.
