Binary Code Hearts
Friday, February 13
All day
McDonough Public Library
In celebration of Valentine’s Day, McDonough Public Library will host a self-guided activity focused on screen-free coding and crafting called Binary Code Hearts. This event is intended for children aged 6-12 and will be available throughout the day.
Participants will learn about the unique binary code that corresponds to each letter of the alphabet, which consists of the digits 1 and 0. They will use this code to spell short Valentine-themed words using pipe cleaners and beads of various colors, ultimately transforming their creations into heart shapes.
