Spivey Hall is set to kick off its season with a performance by the acclaimed pianist Richard Goode on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 3:00 PM. Celebrated for his insightful interpretations and emotional depth, Goode will present a selection of works highlighting his mastery of Classical and Romantic music.
The program includes Mozart’s Sonata No. 8 in A Minor, K. 310, alongside a collection of shorter pieces titled “Fancies & Goodnights,” featuring compositions from notable composers such as Gesualdo, Byrd, Rameau, Gluck, Bizet, Paderewski, Schubert, and Janáček. The concert will conclude with Schumann’s Davidsbündlertänze, Op. 6.
