Program Overview:
Atlanta’s Traditional Okinawan Karate-do Dojo, established in 1987, offers training in Shorin Ryu and Shudokan Karate-do. The dojo focuses on authentic karate instruction that includes traditional techniques, self-defense training, and internal power development. Emphasizing a cooperative and respectful environment, the program aims to foster growth in all aspects of the individual’s development, welcoming beginners and experienced practitioners alike.

The dojo does not teach sport karate; instead, it preserves the historical techniques of Okinawan martial arts for self-defense as passed down through generations. Moeller Sensei, with over 30 years of experience, integrates principles from T’ai Chi Ch’uan, Hung Gar Kung Fu, and Aikido into the training curriculum. He is also the author of “Karate-Do Foundations,” published in 1995.
