Program Overview:
Atlanta’s Traditional Okinawan Karate-do Dojo, established in 1987, offers instruction in Shorin Ryu and Shudokan Karate-do. The program emphasizes traditional techniques and internal power development, focusing on self-defense methods that have been passed down through generations.
The Dojo promotes a cooperative learning environment suitable for all levels, ensuring a pathway to both physical and mental strength. The teaching approach is rooted in historical practices, avoiding sport karate formats. Moeller Sensei, who has over 30 years of experience in various martial arts, integrates principles from T’ai Chi Ch’uan, Hung Gar Kung Fu, and Aikido into the curriculum. He is the author of “Karate-Do Foundations,” published in 1995.
