Program Overview:
Atlanta’s Traditional Okinawan Karate-do Dojo has been established since 1987 and focuses on Shorin Ryu and Shudokan Karate-do. The program emphasizes traditional instruction, including internal power development and time-tested self-defense techniques, suitable for both beginners and experienced practitioners.
The dojo strives to create an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual respect, aiming to strengthen individuals holistically. Unlike sport karate, the teachings are rooted in historical unarmed self-defense techniques that have been preserved through generations. Additionally, Moeller Sensei integrates principles and drills from T’ai Chi Ch’uan, Hung Gar Kung Fu, and Aikido, supported by over 30 years of study. Moeller Sensei is also the author of “Karate-Do Foundations,” published in 1995.
