An adult lecture titled “Encaustic: Painting with Fire, Wax, and Time” will take place on Monday, March 23, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Smyrna Library, Meeting Room. Kim Chesney, an artist with over a decade of experience in encaustic art, will discuss the history of the medium, her creative process, and the stories behind her works. Please reserve a seat in advance. Chesney’s encaustic art will also be exhibited in the Friends Art Gallery during March and April 2026.
