Guided Mountain Hike at Panola Mountain

Location: Panola Mountain State Park, 2620 Highway 155 SW, Stockbridge, GA 30281
Cost: $10 (plus $10 parking without GA State Parks Pass)
This moderately strenuous 3.5-mile hike features significant elevation changes and uneven terrain, suitable for ages 10 and up. Participants will explore the unique ecology and learn about the hardy outcrop plants of the area. Sturdy hiking shoes and water are recommended.
Advance registration is required; groups of 10 or more should arrange for a private hike. The hike will take place rain or shine, with cancellations possible only in severe weather. Reservations are nonrefundable, and participants must notify staff 24 hours in advance of any changes.
