Celestial Perspectives by Jess Self – Marietta

Event Title: A Solo Exhibition in the Terri Strickland Cole Galleries

Exhibition: Celestial Perspectives
This installation-based exhibition features textile artwork by Jess Self, transforming the gallery into a multi-dimensional portal. The intricately hand-woven pieces employ a variety of patterns and techniques, reflecting the pulsing code of the Matrix—acting as both a cosmic map and a textile labyrinth. The installation invites viewers to wander deliberately, engaging with the symbolic language of color, material, and form. Visitors are encouraged to navigate the space both physically and psychologically, passing through veils and encountering figures while contemplating the boundaries between timelines, histories, and selves.
