The Lake Authority is a five-member board, with the elected Mayor serving as Chairman. The remaining four members are appointed by the Mayor and Board to assist in providing citizen input and engagement regarding the operation, management, and development of master plans for Federally leased properties around Lake Acworth. Meetings are held at the Acworth Community Center, located at 4361 Cherokee Street, on the first Monday of each month at noon.
