The Lake Authority is composed of a five-member board, with the elected Mayor serving as Chairman. The remaining four members are appointed by the Mayor and the Board. This group of citizens provides input and engagement regarding the operation, management, and development of master plans for Federally leased properties around Lake Acworth. The Lake Authority convenes on the first Monday of each month at noon at the Acworth Community Center, located at 4361 Cherokee Street.
